| CSA (Centre for Social Action) |

| The centre
facilitates the involvement of students in various social
development activities. It instills a taste for social services
in the students so that through action and interaction, the
young college students grow into responsible citizens of India
. Thus our aim is to create committed youths for the future
socio-economic reconstruction of our country.
The main programmes coordinated by this center are child development
programmes, promotion of economic self-reliance among youths
and women, rural exposure camps, housing projects for the
urban poor, and student exchange programme.
The center also brings out two newsletters called "
Not me but you my child" , and "We Care"

Association |

| Holistic development of each student to take up future global
leadership is the objective of the association. With this view
the association like business quiz, brand wagon, pictionary,
logo slogans and business collage etc conducts various kinds
of activities. Participation in association activities gives
them opportunity for reflecting their ideas, developing their
interpersonal skills and communication ability. It enhances
creativity and promote critical and analytical thinking among
the youngsters. Debates and creative advertisement competition
are encouraged. This helps them to compete in intercollegiate
fest. To meet the requirement of the students, workshops and
guest lectures on career opportunities and communication skills
are also done. |

| Anveshna, the language association is the platform for the
students to exhibit their talents and communication skills through
different competitions. It conducts guest lectures, celebrates
birthdays of great writers, Rajyotsava and Hindi day. |

Tain |

| The Quiz club of Christ PU College - Evening 'Ques tain' is
a locus, which spurs its students to summit and trounce its
competitors in the field of expertise. It is an ideal platform,
where students are spiked mentally through its training programmes.
The club runs quiz sessions periodically to train students for
various inter- collegiate competitions and for building a stellar
personality. |

| SPOORTHI, is the cultural association of Christ PU College
- Evening. It provides a platform for students to exhibit the
skills and talents by participating in various Art, Literary
and Stage competitions. It is also good opportunity for the
students to discover their latent abilities. |
| Sports

| The department of Physical Education organizes many sports
and games. The college team selections are held in the beginning
of the year. Special coaching camps are held for football, basketball,
volleyball, hockey, cricket and throw ball every year. |

The National Cadet Corps

| |
When the going gets tough, the tough get going is the philosophy that drives the cadets of the National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.). It makes its cadets emotionally and physically strong citizens capable of helping civil administration during national emergencies.
The College offers training for both boys and girls under the Army wing of the NCC in the campus. The training programme includes around twenty parades in a year on Saturday afternoons, training in drill, map reading, weapon training, social service and adventure activities like parasailing, horse riding, rock climbing, mountaineering, cycle expedition, trekking etc.
Uniforms are issued free of cost and have to be returned at the end of the training.
All I PUC students are eligible to join NCC. After the completion of two years of training they can get the 'B' certificate and if they continue their training during graduation, after three years, they will be issued the 'C' certificate. The 'B' certificate holders are eligible for the N.C.C quota in CET and all other professional courses. Preference is given to 'B' & 'C' certificate holders in defence services, police, para-military forces, fire forces, the Border Security Force, industrial security forces, public sectors and all uniformed services. 'C' certificate holders can directly join the defence forces as officers. |
